Children in Seoul

Samcheong Park, Jeongdok Library and Je-dong Primary School (pictured below) playground (when school's not in of course) are three places children have space to play and run around outside.

If you are looking for pre-school facilities for babies/children 3 months to school age, the Andong Pre-School (pictured below) has a number of non-Korean children attending. The pre-school is not 'international' or an 'English' pre-school. Rather it is a well-run, caring, stimulating Korean pre-school, which seems happy to welcome non-Korean students if they have places. It also has a generous outdoor garden play area, which while well worn, the kids love.

Andong Pre-school ('yu-chi-won') is located directly behind the Wood and Brick in Gahoe-dong, about a 15 minute walk north of the Fraser Suites in Insadong.

The area also has several public primary schools, which according to the Korean Government, will also accept non-Korean students. And of course many international schools have bus runs through the area to pick up and drop off their students. More information here.
